The company was formed to develop a Drywall Repair Kit, as there were none on the market in 1987. We are the first to develop and market a repair kit that repairs drywall, from inside the wall cavity. This is the method professional drywall repair people use to repair wall damage. Repairing with a "stick on the wall repair kit", leaves a "bump" that will show "through" when the wall is painted, tiled or wallpapered. Since the introduction of the Patch It! Drywall repair kit fifteen years ago, we have had only two complaints of problems with the installation of the kit. In both cases, the insulation material inside the wall was not cleared away and came in contact with the adhesive on the repair board.
